 Q: How do I access your services?

A: Most people have outpatient mental health coverage as part of their medical insurance. The first step is to call your insurance company in order to find out what is your outpatient mental health coverage and to check if I am on the provider list.


Q: What insurance companies do you participate in?


A: Aetna, Oasis/Charles Nechtum, the traditional/PPO plan for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Some insurance companies have out-of-network coverage which may not present a large difference in cost.


Q: What happens during our first visit?

A: We will spend the first few sessions gathering information about your concerns, history, relationships and goals for therapy. We will agree on the goals for therapy.


Q: How often do we meet?

A: Psychotherapy usually takes place one time per week. It is important to work in a consistent way to meet your goals. It is important that you are ready to make the commitment to engage in psychotherapy.
